Flat tire in the wilderness

On the road to reinvention it is so easy to get extremely eager to put some miles between us and where we want to move from, that we may head off on the journey without the needed tools or proper provisions for the journey.
It is sort of like heading off for a cross country trip without enough maps, gas money or even a spare tire.
You make some good time on the highway -- for a while. The scenery changes and hope for the adventure ahead keeps our eyes firmly fixed on the goal on front of us.
A couple hours down the road the gas tank gets low, the landscape starts to be less exciting and more unfamiliar. And then without warning -- BAM -- a flat tire!
All of a sudden the new adventure turns into being sidelined in unfamiliar territory without the needed tools. No way to move forward -- not exactly moving anywhere really.
That's how the journey of reinventing my resurrection is right now. Motivation and drive are dead... flat.
Part of the problem may be that one of the things missing in the proverbial car on this journey to change was my buddy...
